FeedMachinery Troubleshoot provides general-purpose, educational decision-support guides for diagnosing common feed mill equipment problems. The guidance is generic by nature: it cannot account for the specific design, condition, modification history, or operating context of your machinery.
Content in this service does not constitute professional engineering advice, and does not replace the equipment manufacturer's documentation, your site's safety procedures, or the judgement of competent, authorised maintenance personnel. Where guidance conflicts with the manufacturer's manual or local regulations, the manual and regulations prevail.
Feed mill machinery presents serious hazards, including rotating parts, stored energy, electricity, hot surfaces, combustible dust and confined spaces. You must isolate and lock out machinery, verify zero energy, and follow all applicable safety regulations and site procedures (including permit-to-work and confined-space systems) before any inspection or work. Warnings displayed in the guides are reminders, not a substitute for your own safety systems. Work on electrical equipment must only be carried out by qualified electricians.
You are solely responsible for decisions and actions taken based on the guidance, for verifying its applicability to your equipment, and for compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to your facility (including occupational safety, ATEX/NFPA combustible dust and electrical codes).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FeedMachinery.com accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, death, production loss, or equipment damage arising from use of, reliance on, or inability to use this service. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Diagnosis session records are stored to provide the service (session history, printable records, and aggregate, anonymised statistics used to improve the guides). Records are associated with your membership account when you are logged in.
Guides and their content are for use by you and your organisation and may not be scraped, copied, republished, or resold. Access requires acceptance of these terms; Pro content requires an active FeedMachinery Pro membership.
